Patton Electronics, a Maryland-based VoIP hardware manufacturer, has built everything from micro-sized interface converters to carrier-grade telecom gear for connecting subscribers to service providers. The company’s specialty is interconnecting legacy TDM and serial systems with new-generation IP-based voice, data, and multimedia technologies. A majority of Patton products are manufactured in the USA.
Products from Patton Electronics have been tested by Dialexia to operate with its VoIP IP PBX and softswitch platforms and applications. Tests made include inbound and outbound calls, call transfers, IVR interaction, and CODEC negotiation. In order to ensure interoperability, Dialexia certifies and supports only specific combinations of third party hardware and firmware.
In addition to collaborating on product interoperability, Patton and Dialexia have teamed up to develop an all-in-one IP-PBX appliance for SMEs and start-ups. Announced in 2015, the Office PX is now available for purchase.
