Dash911® and Dialexia® Announce Successful Completion of Integration and Interoperability

Dialexia’s Dial-Gate Softswitch Compatible with Dash911 E911 Services.

Montreal, QC and Denver, CO – February 12, 2007 – Dialexia an award-winning provider of next-gen VoIP software and applications, and Dash911, an industry-leading E911 service provider, today announced the successful completion of integration and interoperability testing of Dialexia’s softswitch and billing software Dial-Gate© and Dash911 E911 call routing services.

Dash911 is excited to be working with an industry pioneer such as Dialexia” said Justin Nelson, CEO of Dash911.  He further added, “With a full set of features and aggressive pricing, Dialexia’s solution is ideally suited for Dash911’s customer base of VSP’s. Additionally, their top notch technical capabilities will appeal to any customer.  We found it a pleasure to work with their tech team in interoperability testing. They responded quickly and effectively to all of our requests.”

Basic 9-1-1 service consists of routing 9-1-1 dialed calls to a designated PSAP (Public Service Access Point), which is a specialized emergency call-answer centre for all 9-1-1 calls originating within a specific geographic area. A PSAP agent connects a 9-1-1 caller to the required emergency services agency (police, fire and/or ambulance). The PSAP agent typically sees the caller's telephone number. In E911, ALI (Automatic Location Information) functionality ensures that a 9-1-1 caller's name, telephone number (listed or unlisted), address, type of service and other pertinent information is downloaded from an ILEC (incumbent local exchange carrier) maintained database and automatically transferred to the PSAP along with each incoming 9-1-1 call. Interconnected VoIP providers must deliver all 911 calls to the customer’s local emergency operator.  This must be a standard, rather than optional, feature of the service. They must also provide emergency operators with the call back number and location information of their customers where the emergency operator is capable of receiving it.

"We want to bring new services and with that more opportunities for new revenues to our ITSP customers, setting us apart from the competition. Having completed the interoperability testing with Dash911, our combined efforts have resulted in Dial-Gate’s Emergency Manager Component now being capable of offering a robust and dependable E911 service," said Mohamed El-Mohri, CTO at Dialexia Communications. “We’re proud to be their partner and hope to continue this strong business relationship well into the future, to the benefit of our clients.”

Dial-Gate© is a Web-based SIP proxy and a centralized routing server for both the VoIP & PSTN networks.  Among its many features are; A Pre/Post Paid Billing System, Real Time Monitoring, and CDR Management.  With the added option of IP-Tone (for broadband residential services), Dial-Gate© can handle incoming and outgoing calls from both the IP and PSTN networks.  IP-Tone features Voice Mail (unified or non-unified), Caller ID, Call Forwarding, 3 Way Conferencing, Follow Me, Assignment of Virtual/Real DID Numbers, as well as, Account & Mailbox Management via the Web.  The Hosted Call Shop option furnishes service providers with additional methods of generating recurring revenue.
