Dialexia Communications Awarded “Best of Show” at INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2006

Dial-Gate Hosted PBX Module Singled Out for Innovation and Quality at Leading VoIP Event Last Month

Montreal, QC Canada, (02/20/06) — Dialexia Communications announced today that its Dial-Gate Hosted PBX Module has been named a winner of a “Best of Show” Awarded at Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®)’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference and EXPO East 2006.  TMC reports that the conference, attended by over 8,000 people last month at the Ft. Lauderdale/Broward Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida was the best-attended VoIP conference ever held.

Geared towards ITSPs, CLECs, and ASPs, the new Web-based Hosted PBX is designed to provide the administrator with the tools to serve multiple companies.  The architecture consists of multiple IVRs, a billing system, and a database (similar to an ASP model) that can be shared by each user (enterprise).  Some of its main features include Unified Voicemail, Caller ID, Call Forwarding, Follow Me, ACD functions, and Remote Access.  For the enterprise, the Hosted PBX is a low cost solution; it is easy to implement and there is no need for local IT support, given that an IP Phone is all that is required.  Dial-Gate is composed of several integral components.  The Dial-Manager component incorporates a SIP Proxy, a Registrar, and a Presence server.  Dial-Media is the SIP IVR server. Also included within the Dial-Gate base structure are a proprietary billing server and an easy-to-use OA&M web interface.
