Dial-Console

SIP-based soft console fully compatible with Dial-Office

Dial-Console is a SIP-based soft console custom designed for receptionist switch boardoperation in an IP-PBX environment. Geared toward the rapidly growing VoIP market, Dial-Console enables conventional receptionist functionalities such as receiving calls, transferring calls, and making outgoing calls, all from an intuitive web interface. With a real-time view of the corporate users’ presence statuses, the receptionist can direct incoming calls based on user availability. Dial-Console is fully compatible with the Dial-Office IP PBX and represents a cost-effective overall replacement for standard telephone hardware consoles.

Key Features

- Conventional receptionist functionalities – The receptionist can receive incoming  calls, place calls on hold,  make blind and supervised call transfers,  transfer to voice mail, and park calls.

- Concurrent call handling –  Dial-Console  can handle  high  call  volumes; during peak times, the  receptionist can place some calls on hold, park  some calls and transfer others. All calls being processed are displayed on the screen and  are color  coded based  on whether  they are incoming, on  hold,  being transferred, or connected. In addition, each call’s elapsed time is shown.

- Presence monitoring – The  receptionist  maintains  a real-time view  of the presence status of all users in the system. With this view, the receptionist knows which users are available to receive incoming calls.

- Contact list management – Contact  lists  containing  user  extensions and numbers can be saved and organized into groups.

- Auto complete dialling – To  transfer a  call or to make an outgoing call, the receptionist  can start typing the first few letters of the called  party’s  name and Dial Console automatically displays the list of matched names from the contact list. The receptionist simply clicks on the desired contact and the system immediatelydials its number.

- Supported CODEX – G.711 µ-Law, G.711 A-Law, G729, Speex, iLBC.
