Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ahmed Aina Born in Algeria, Mr. Aïna lived in France for several years before moving to Quebec in 1981. He earned an MBA from France and M.Sc from the University of Montreal, where he was employed as a lecturer in management and economics. He also taught at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and the University of Sherbrooke for several years before starting a business in the burgeoning field of interactive IP telephony. In 1987, Mr. Aïna co-founded BTI, a software development company for videotex on Alex and Minitel terminals. The technology of BTI was sold to Korea Telecom in 1991. Concurrently in 1991, he co-founded Médiasoft Telecom and became its executive vice-president of finance, until its merger in 2000 with Prima, to form Elix Co. MédiaSoft was the undisputed leader of toolkits in the CTI industry. Companies such as Intel Corporation and GTI invested significantly in the firm. In 2004, Bell Canada bought Elix to become BCE Elix and today it specializes in call center solutions. Following the success of Médiasoft, in 2001 Mr. Aïna co-founded Dialexia.
